Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton reach out to Hispanic Christians

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have this week made efforts to secure the votes of Hispanic Christians in their bids to be elected U.S. President.

Videos from the Republic and the Democrat were shown at the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference in California, reports CNN.

Trump said that cracking down on illegal immigration would boost jobs for minorities.

”We’re going to take care of minority unemployment. It’s a huge problem, it’s really unfair to minorities, and we are going to solve that problem,” he said.

Clinton used the recording to stress the importance of religion in her own life.

“The lessons I’ve learned from my family and church guide me every day of this campaign,” she said.
