America actress Melissa Joan Hart puts her own personal faith in her latest movie God’s Not Dead 2.
Hart, who became famous in Sabrina the Teenage Witch, plays a persecuted Christian teacher in the new film.
The actress took to the role with added conviction. She is a committed follower of Christ.

Hart, 40, was raised a Catholic and later moved towards Presbyterianism with her Baptist husband.
She said: “I find that if you say ‘Jesus’ it makes people feel uncomfortable instead of feeling love and peace.

“It’s very unfortunate. The idea with the movie is that Jesus shouldn’t be an uncomfortable name to say.”
The movie is based around a high school history teacher, played by Hart, who comes under fire for answering a student’s question about Jesus.
The actor, who is also a fashion designer and a producer, has also put her relationship with God at the centre of her life.
She said she had signed up to Bible study and spent a lot of time praying.
“God has been a sort of snowball effect in my life,” she added.
