A former topless model revealed how heroin nearly killed her – before Jesus saved her.
Susie Flashman Jarvis was a Page 3 girl for popular red-top tabloids. She was a well-known model in magazines and TV but became hooked on heroin.
But life changed for Susie when she picked up the Bible and started to read the Psalms.
She said: “I started losing work and I was going from relationship to relationship, becoming more and more promiscuous.
“I wasn’t a prostitute, as such, but I was basically giving my body away for drugs. I just couldn’t come off them. I tried for a long time, but I was unsuccessful – until God saved me.
“At first I thought I had to pay God back for everything I’d done, but we can never pay him back. He just says: ‘I love you because I love you.’”
Susie has written a book ‘Potholes and Belly-flops’ about her life as a model and conversion to Christianity.
