Dad’s Army legend Frank Williams has revealed his Christian faith.

Veteran actor Williams, now 85, played long-suffering vicar, Rev Timothy Farthing, in the popular show for many years.

But off the stage, Williams has a strong belief, too.

Growing up in a Christian home, Frank remembers his parents teaching him bedtime prayers, and faith has remained at the centre of his life, whether acting or writing books.

Frank served as a lay member of the General Synod of the Church of England and always attended church on a Sunday wherever he was in the world – including a tour of China.

Read the June issue of New Life Newspaper to see more of what Frank says about his faith.
