A nine-week mission reaching young people in Rwanda led 700,000 to give their lives to Jesus.
More than 1,100 children’s crusades were held throughout spring in Kigali by evangelism group Christ for All Nations (CfaN), with over 695,000 deciding to follow Christ.
Evangelist Samuel Hörnle said: “We have seen so many children following the call of the Father to come home. Thousands of kids are proclaiming and confessing Jesus as Lord. To see this is one of the greatest privileges of our times.”
The children-specific spring outreach was part of CfaN’s ‘Decade of Double Harvest’ to bring as many converts to Jesus in the next 10 years as in the first 40 years of the ministry.
CfaN plans to train thousands of new evangelists for the double harvest, equipping them to join veteran outreach workers on proven initiatives such as mobile crusade trucks, simultaneous outreaches across multiple cities, and children’s crusades.
Along with its African work, congregants from Florida-based CfaN’s Orlando church plant evangelised in the streets to locals and tourists, and 110,000 simple booklets explaining Christ’s message have been distributed worldwide, with thousands of commitments to Jesus reported.
